South West Media Factory is a community interest company based in Dumfries in South West Scotland.  We work in screen related activity for young people, including events, education and training.

Over the last four years, we have worked with a total of 42 young people to make six short films, and we are currently working on our seventh, a short film noir. We have also run film education workshops with 250 primary school pupils across the region.
